1. What we collect

When you create a Heartlink account we collect the information you give us: your name, email address, date of birth, gender, preferences, photos, bio and interests. We also store the content you create on the service — swipes, matches, messages and virtual gifts.

2. How we use it

• To show your profile to other members and recommend compatible people.
• To deliver messages and gifts between matched members.
• To keep the community safe — detecting fake profiles and abusive behaviour.
• To improve the product with aggregated, de-identified usage statistics.

3. What we never do

We never sell your personal data, never show your email to other members, and never post anything on your behalf. Your messages are visible only to you and the person you matched with.

4. Payment information

Card details entered at checkout are processed by our payment provider and are never stored on Heartlink servers. We keep only the transaction outcome and the item purchased.

5. Your rights

You can edit your profile at any time, export a copy of your data, or delete your account permanently from Settings → Danger zone. Deleting your account removes your profile, photos, matches and messages from our systems.

6. Data retention & security

Data is stored on servers located in the European Union and encrypted in transit. We keep your data only while your account is active or as required by law.
